External transmission of user information

Under Article 27-12 of the Telecommunications Business Act of Japan (rules on external transmission), Bridgeworks Inc. ("we") discloses the information about users that is sent from a user's device to third-party businesses when using our mobile application "Mani" (the "App").

The App includes programs (SDKs) provided by third parties for displaying and measuring ads, analyzing usage, and detecting defects. When you launch and use the App, these programs send information from your device to those businesses. The items sent and the purposes of use by us and by each recipient are listed per recipient in the tables below.

1. Ad serving and measurement

Ads in the App are served through AppLovin MAX (mediation), and the ad networks below bid on and serve each placement. Each network's SDK is built into the App and sends information directly from your device when an ad is loaded.

2. Ad campaign measurement (attribution)

These programs measure installs and sign-ups that come from ads we run. The user ID we assign is sent so that the user can be identified.

4. Transmission to our own servers

The App sends information to servers we operate in order to provide the service. These are transmissions to us, listed here for reference.

How to stop transmission / opt out

Transmissions that use the advertising identifier can be limited with the device settings below. Ads will still be shown, but the use of information for personalized ads is limited.

  • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and do not allow Mani to track (the IDFA is not sent when tracking is not allowed).
  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads, and reset or delete your advertising ID.
  • In the App: My > Privacy Policy, and opt out of personalized ads.
  • For each recipient's own opt-out method, see the links in the tables above.

The transmissions listed above are necessary for the App to function and cannot be stopped completely while you use the App. If you do not wish them to occur, please uninstall the App.

Transmissions for sign-in and OS features

The following transmissions result from your own actions or OS features and are not included in the tables above.

  • Sign-in: when you sign in with Google, Apple or LINE, account information is sent to that provider for authentication. See the privacy policies of Google, Apple and LINE for details.
  • Device integrity: to prevent abuse, information showing that the device and app are genuine is sent to Google (Play Integrity API) on Android and to Apple (App Attest) on iOS.
  • In-app review prompts: when the Google Play or App Store review prompt is shown, information may be sent by that store's feature.
